This new six-part drama series by Paula Milne charts the experiences of seven friends from 1965 to the present day.

Their lives and destinies play out against the political events of the day, from the working class militancy of the 1970s through to Thatcherism and its aftermath.

Sam Claflin stars as left wing rebel Jack, while Claire Foy plays Charlotte, a determined feminist.

The first episode shows how the seven friends met as students in a north London flat. Winston Churchill has just died and the world is changing fast.
