Protest outside Housing Innovation Awards

Issue No. 2293

Around 20 workers in the Unite union protested on Thursday of last week outside the plush London hotel where the Housing Innovation Awards were being held.

Their bosses at Liverpool Mutual Homes (LMH) were due to receive two awards.

Since taking on their privatised contract in June 2011, the company has fired 19 workers and is accused of bullying and intimidation.
