Socialist Worker

Snookered

Issue No. 2293

This new play by Middlesbrough-based writer Ishy Din looks at the lives of four British Pakistani young men.

They meet in a northern snooker hall to mark the birthday of a mutual friend who died six years ago. Soon secrets emerge that will test their friendships.

The play opened to positive reviews in Oldham earlier this year and has now moved to the Bush Theatre in London. It moves to Southampton in early April.
