This Turkish film about a murder investigation in the Anatolian steppe has been getting rave reviews from the critics.

It focuses on the attempts to locate a body by two murder suspects and the police officers who accompany them into the wilderness.

The film was written, produced and directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan who specialises in atmospheric evocations of Turkey’s lives and landscapes.
