Morning Star conference bashes bankers

Some 200 people gathered last Saturday for the Morning Star’s conference, For a People’s Britain, Not a Bankers’ Britain.

Contributions that called for united resistance and strikes were always applauded.

But too many platform speeches stressed the horrors and difficulties we face rather than the potential for resistance.

In contrast, Bob Crow’s speech laid out the failure of Labour and the value of backing TUSC.
