Who wants to be a Lib Dem?

Lib Dems are having a tough time finding candidates for the upcoming local elections.

They are standing in more than 1,000 fewer seats than other main parties.

They have even failed to put forward a full slate for Liverpool council—which they controlled until 2010.

The editor of The Liberal magazine admitted, “It is more difficult than at any other time in the past two decades to find people in Liverpool and Leeds who are willing to stand with a yellow rosette.”
