Hosepipe MP splashes out

Environment minister Richard Benyon has said everyone should “play their part” in the hosepipe ban in southern and eastern England.

But Benyon’s £125 million stately home and 20,000 acre Berkshire estate are exempt from the ban—because he has his own private borehole.

He denies allegations of sprinkling his own lawns.
