London Met lecturers to decide on action

Issue No. 2299

Lecturers at London Metropolitan University were set to meet on Wednesday of this week to discuss an ongoing dispute over redundancies.

The UCU union members recently voted for both strikes and action short of a strike.

UCU and Unison union members at the university have also passed votes of no confidence in the vice chancellor and senior management.

Lecturers should begin a hard-hitting and effective campaign, including escalating strikes, to save jobs and services.
