Olympic bus ballot looms in London

Bus drivers in London are set to be balloted for strikes over the refusal of London bus companies to pay them an Olympic bonus.

Most transport workers in London are receiving a one-off payment to compensate for increased workloads.

But London’s private bus operators—who are overseen by Transport for London—have refused to negotiate with the Unite union.
