Workers in five unions will strike on 10 May.
They include Unite members in the health service and Ministry of Defence, and civil service workers in the PCS.
Lecturers in the UCU, transport workers in the RMT and public sector workers in Nipsa in Northern Ireland will strike too.
Workers are fighting Tory attempts to make them work longer, pay more and get less when they retire.
Here are five things you can do to show your support:
Hold joint meetings with other unions to plan for the strike day
- Organise to visit picket lines and take union banners
- Do a collection in your union branch or organisation for the strikers
- Help to publicise any rallies and protests on the day
- Twin your workplace with another to help support the action
