David Cameron has come up with a new plan to help his rich pals—he wants to give them the right to sack workers whenever they want.
The so-called “no fault dismissal” plan would mean bosses could fire at will.
The plan is part of the Beecroft report—written by venture capitalist and big Tory donor Adrian Beecroft.
It also includes plans to relax rules on children working—and says firms should be able to opt out of equality laws.
It would also water down rules that protect pay and conditions when a service is privatised.
Lib Dem minister Vince Cable says he’s against the on-the-spot sackings plan.
But as we have seen with the health service and student fees, Lib Dem words of opposition are worse than worthless.
It’s the Tories and the Lib Dem who should be fired, not workers.
