Job cuts help rich avoid tax

There are some £35 billion in uncollected taxes, a public accounts committee found.

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) scraped £4.32 billion from super rich tax avoiders.

But a further £1.1 billion could have been collected if 3,300 jobs hadn’t been axed.
