This new film by veteran activists Phil Maxwell and Haz Hashim looks at the anti-fascist struggle in London’s East End from the 1930s to today.
It receives its premiere at the Genesis Cinema in Whitechapel at 6.30pm on 5 July. Booking in advance is recommended as the showing is likely to sell out.
Julius Caesar

This new adaptation of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar features an all-black cast and is set in a post-independence African state.
The production echoes the overthrow of dictators in the Arab Spring. Paterson Joseph stars as Brutus with Ray Fearon as Mark Anthony.
