TV: Seeking Refuge

Issue No. 2310

Five stories told by children give insight into the lives of young people seeking asylum in Britain. Each of the films portray different aspects of the experiences of young refugees.

The films together are described as showing the collective struggles of people fleeing persecution. They explore the alienation they face and the oppression they suffer. The stories are available on BBC’s iPlayer service until 7 July.
