Marxism 2012: Video interview with journalist Gary Younge

Author and journalist Gary Younge appeared at the Marxism festival on Friday evening to talk about Obama’s record, the US presidential race and the impact of Occupy. He spoke to Socialist Worker afterwards.

Other key sessions at Marxism on Friday included an electrifying panel discussion on youth, rage and revolution featuring a speaker on the August riots in Britain, Miguel Sanz on the movement in Barcelona and Egyptian revolutionary Gigi Ibrahim.

Highlights on Saturday include Greek socialist Panos Garganas on the battle against the Troika and a panel on Europe against austerity featuring Richard Boyd Barrett from Ireland, Christine Buchholz from Germany, Maria Styllou from Greece and Alex Callinicos, editor of International Socialism.
