Defend Jason Poulter

Issue No. 2314

Rank and file activists gathered outside Ratcliffe on Soar power station in Nottinghamshire on Thursday of last week.

They were protesting at the victimisation of Unite union health and safety rep Jason Poulter. Electricians at Ratcliffe have already successfully defended Jason once.

He was suspended from work earlier this year but won his job back after 600 workers staged an unofficial walkout demanding his reinstatement.

Now Jason’s bosses at contractor Spie Matthew Hall have made him redundant. But they are refusing to explain why he was selected for redundancy.
