Sudanese activists demonstrated outside Downing Street on Saturday in solidarity with the Sudanese revolution.
They called for the release of all political prisoners and the end of Omar al-Bashir’s regime.
The main issue of this week’s protest was the killings in Nyala, a city in the Darfur region of Sudan.
Police opened fire on peaceful student demo in Nyala on Tuesday of last week. At least eight protesters were killed, most of them teenagers.
The students were protesting against price rises pushed through by the Bashir regime. The austerity measures have triggered protests across the country.
