DHL Neasden set to strike

Issue No. 2325

RMT union members at delivery company DHL’s Neasden depot in North London are set to strike next Monday for 24 hrs over pay and conditions.

Workers at the Neasden depot are on the same terms and conditions as workers at DHL Enfield but are paid less and do not receive agreed paid breaks.

DHL has recently launched an advertising campaign featuring Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United players.

RMT general secretary Bob Crow said, “As a former shop steward himself we doubt that Fergie would be impressed with the shabby treatment that DHL are meting out to staff at the Neasden depot.”
