Refuse workers in the Unite union have called four strike days at Veolia, demanding the reinstatement of four sacked colleagues.

Some 124 workers are involved. They were set to picket their depot in Bromley, south east London, from early morning on each strike day. The first strike was set for Friday of this week, followed by 27, 28 and 31 December.

Council workers have leafleted Bromley against attacks that would make them the poorest council workers in London.
