Stoppages planned on tube, trains and ferries

Train signallers in Stirling were set to strike on Saturday of this week to demand 12-hour shifts. They are members of the RMT union.

London tube train drivers in the Aslef union are being balloted for a strike over compulsory Boxing Day work. The result will be out on Monday of next week.

Workers on the Serco Northern Isles ferries were set to strike against job cuts. They are in the RMT union.

Workers on the Orkney-Scrabster and Shetland-Aberdeen services are set to be out on 14, 21 and 28 December. And strikes are set for 17, 24 and 31 December on the Aberdeen-Orkney-Shetland route.
