Regional pay for London boroughs

Issue No. 2339

Workers in the Unite union are set to be balloted for strikes at one of London’s largest housing associations.

The One Housing Group is imposing wage cuts of up to £8,000 on 250 workers—and splitting them into two zones.

Outer London workers are set to lose £1,000 more than colleagues in inner London.

Its definition of “outer” London includes the central boroughs of Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Lambeth.
