Lettuce now strike against a pay cut

Issue No. 2343

Workers at a 2 Sisters Food Group factory in Corby, Northamptonshire, are set to vote on strikes against attacks including a £40 a week pay cut last year.

Bosses took a 2 percent pay rise. The workers are members of the Bfawu union at Solway Foods, which processes meat and salads.

2 Sisters continues to expand, and has recently announced that it will take on 500 extra workers in response to new contracts.
