MICHAEL MOORE has been speaking at massive rallies, with 8,000 at Utah Valley State College. Special showings of his movie Fahrenheit 9/11 across the US are part of the campaign to stop Bush winning (see photos and reports at www.michael

Since the release of the movie hundreds of GIs serving in Iraq and Afghanistan have contacted him about their doubts about the war. Moore’s new book Will They Ever Trust Us Again? Letters from the War Zone to Michael Moore (£12.99) is a collection of just some of these many letters and e-mails from US soldiers and their families.

Moore has written an introduction and some narrative, but mostly he lets the soldiers speak for themselves.

He also bites back against the critics with The Official Fahrenheit 9/11 Reader (£8.99), which includes rebuttals to those who have challenged claims made in the movie.

Both these books and lots more are available from Bookmarks, the socialist bookshop, 1 Bloomsbury Street, London WC1A 3QE.
