THE TGWU and Amicus unions have called a march and rally on Saturday 27 November to save the Jaguar Browns Lane plant in Coventry from closure.

Clive Dixon, Jaguar worker and TGWU rep, told Socialist Worker, “Jaguar workers have been out in all the local town centres over the last week gaining support.

“It is going to be a national demonstration, and delegations of workers from Ford, which owns Jaguar, from across Britain are being encouraged to come. People are far more likely to support you if you take hard-hitting action.”
