Socialist Worker appeal ...£52,584 and rising

Issue No. 1926

SOCIALIST WORKER readers have helped us break the £50,000 mark for our fundraising appeal in the past week by sending in almost £15,000.

One of those who donated is award-winning writer China Miéville. China says, “Socialist Worker is a paper by and for everyone trying to change the world. I can’t think of a better cause.”

Delegates to the Respect conference last weekend gave over £2,000 to the Socialist Worker appeal.

Readers are organising a host of social events around the country, including a sponsored bike ride on 5 December and a nature walk in London on 12 December.

We are also selling a range of T-shirts, including these, to help raise money for the appeal. They cost £8, plus £1 postage and packaging.
