Nuclear protests at anniversary of Fukushima

Issue No. 2344

Protests were held across Japan last Sunday against the restarting of nuclear power stations.

All 50 of Japan’s nuclear reactors were turned off after the earthquake and tsunami in the north east of the country in 2011.

Two of the reactors have been restarted.

Some 200,000 protesters also marched in cities across Taiwan against nuclear power last Saturday.
