Sheridan says, we will stop evictions

Issue No. 2350

Former MSP and socialist campaigner Tommy Sheridan spoke at the Uddingston meeting against the bedroom tax (see main).

“This issue has to be a line in the sand,” he said. “I went to jail for not paying the poll tax. With the bedroom tax I’m not affected.

“But for anyone who can’t—or won’t—pay and finds themselves in arrears, I and the federation will build a human wall of solidarity against evictions.”
