IT workers will shut down bosses

Issue No. 2350

Workers at Hewlett Packard were set to strike next week after negotiations with bosses failed to improve a 1.6 percent pay deal.

The 1,500 members of the PCS union were set to begin an indefinite work to rule on Friday and walk out on Monday of next week.

Workers also fear that over 1,000 jobs could be lost.
