Coors workers call time on pay cuts

Issue No. 2350

Some 350 workers at the Molson Coors brewery in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, are to be balloted for strikes from next Tuesday.

They are members of the Unite union who face attacks on their contracts.

Some workers could lose up to £9,000 pay a year. New shift patterns would mean that workers’ shifts could be changed at 23 hours notice.
