Fascists were humiliated in Brighton last Sunday, and outnumbered ten to one by anti-fascists.
Around 1,500 people lined the seafront route of the racist “March for England” to show their opposition to the Nazis.
The 150 marchers mainly consisted of members of the racist English Defence League. Their voices were drowned out for the whole of the march by a wall of noise from protesters.
After the fascists had left, the anti-fascists marched through the city centre, where they had humiliated the EDL on last year’s march.
They were greeted by cheers and car horns as people came out of the shops to clap and to join in. There were banners from unions including UCU, NUT and Unison.
