Heathrow workers prepare for ballot

Issue No. 2351

Workers at Heathrow airport employed by Menzies World Cargo are set to ballot for strikes over pay.

Their Unite union is preparing a ballot of the 294 workers after the firm imposed a two-year pay freeze.

The firm made a profit of £36 million last year—a 16 percent rise on its profits in 2011.
