Overtime ban hits ferry services

Management of Orkney Ferries refused to improve a 1 percent pay offer last week.

Workers in the RMT, Nautilus and Unite unions refused last year to accept job cuts instead of low pay, and called an overtime ban.

This forced bosses to cancel some Outer North Isles services from Friday of last week to Monday of this week.
