Beaten man fights for justice

by Annette Mackin
Issue No. 2352

A man who was kicked unconscious in a racist attack and then charged with actual bodily harm is campaigning for justice.

Zulf Shah was punched and kicked in the head outside his home in High Wycombe last year.

Zulf said that Thames Valley Police took statements from his attackers but not from him, his family or witnesses. His attackers faced no charges.

Charges against Zulf for actual bodily harm were thrown out of court last month because of lack of evidence.

Zia Ullah, who set up the Justice4Paps campaign after his cousin died in police custody, is backing Zulf’s campaign.
