PCS members at IT firm CSC vote for strike over pay

Issue No. 2353

Around 300 workers at IT firm Computer Science Corporation (CSC) have voted overwhelming for strikes.

They are members of the PCS union. Some 92.5 percent voted for a strike on a 58 percent turnout.

The company has offered a below inflation 0.5 percent pay deal and denies some workers union recognition.

CSC’s contracts include admin for the armed forces.
