Jerry Hicks building on votes

Jerry Hicks has been speaking at meetings around Britain to discuss how to build on his success in Unite’s general secretary election.

Nearly 80,000 voted for Jerry after he called for a union controlled by its members.

He has held regional meetings in London, Manchester and Birmingham. He will be speaking this week in Cambridge, Telford, Leeds, Hartlepool and Glasgow.

These will be followed by a national meeting on the 25 May.
