This is an international documentary film festival of new and historical films covering everything from poetry and LGBT stories to liberation struggles.
Marxist historian EP Thompson is celebrated in The Poor Stockinger, the Luddite Cropper and the Deluded Followers of Joanna Southcott.
It also includes classics from Michael Grigsby who died earlier this year.
He made films on the Lockerbie disaster and the Vietnam war. And in 1973 he went to sea with trawlermen who talked about their lives and living in a company town.
