Fifth national strike at Crown Post Office

Some 4,000 CWU members at Crown Post Offices struck nationally on Tuesday of this week. 

They are battling against threatened office closures and for decent pay. This is their fifth strike in two months.Workers called the strike after talks failed to deliver on key issues. 

CWU members at Royal Mail are in the second week of a consultative ballot for a fight over privatisation, pay and conditions which ends on 18 June.
