This festival includes films, plays, concerts, talks, dance, art and photographs from North Africa and the Middle East.
It includes film classics and the latest from Lebanese, Iraqi and
Algerian directors who deal with war and state repression. Talks headlined Freedom Hour examine life, art and political realities from Hip Hop Refugees to Artists Versus the Police.
There’s also graffitti workshops, lots of children’s events and an exploration of the lives and history of Liverpool’s Arab immigrants over the last century.
