Isle of Man buses strike against wage cuts

Issue No. 2356

Drivers at government-owned Bus Vannin on the Isle of Man have continued a 12 day strike against wage cuts of up to £3,000 per year.

This is the workers’ fifth strike and began on 25 May. Management has threatened to lock drivers out when the strike ends.

The strike was timed to coincide with the annual TT motorcycle races.
