In this radio drama by the brilliant poet Benjamin Zephaniah, ten year old Mark struggles to cope with his violent dad.

This partly echoes Zephaniah’s own experience growing up in Birmingham in the 1970s.

Mark, a talented footballer, copes by collecting his thoughts in small poems shaping and rhyming words.

Burt Caesar stars as his the father with James Smith as Mark and Flo Wilson as his mother.
