Teachers at John Gulson Primary School in Coventry began a three-day strike on Tuesday of this week over excessive lesson observations.

The walkout involved NUT and NASUWT union members.



Teachers at Westwood Girls’ College in Croydon, south London, struck on Thursday of last week over excessive lesson observations. 

The NUT and NASUWT union members plan to strike on Tuesday of next week.

NUT union members at Uplands junior school in Leicestershire struck on Tuesday of this week. Management wants to slash eight teaching assistant posts. 

They were set to strike again on Thursday.
