Around 200 people defied the downpour to demonstrate against planned cuts and job losses of jobs at Lambeth College, south London, on Saturday of last week.
Staff and students from the college were joined by local residents and teachers from other colleges across London and beyond. They marched from Clapham Common down to Brixton.
Speakers at the rally spoke out against planned cuts to courses and layoffs of up to 97 teachers and support staff. The union is balloting its members over industrial action against compulsory redundancies.
