Yorks ambulance strike called off for Acas talks

Issue No. 2359

The Unite union called off a planned strike of Yorkshire Ambulance workers on Saturday of last week for talks with bosses at the Acas conciliation service.

The workers struck twice after refusing to accept cuts to wages and conditions, and derecognition of the union.
