South Gloucestershire council strike vote over new pay cut

by Huw Williams, branch secretary South Gloucestershire Unison (pc)
Issue No. 2362

Unison union members in South Gloucestershire are to hold an indicative ballot for strikes and industrial action.

They face the removal of enhanced pay for Saturday working. This amounts to a pay cut of around 10 percent for some workers who are already on poverty pay.

Union meetings were set to take place this week.
