150 workers set to be made redundant at Railcare

Issue No. 2365

More than 150 workers are set to be made redundant at Railcare after it went into administration last week. Another 350 are to go without wages for up to six weeks.

They are based in Springburn near Glasgow and Wolverton near Milton Keynes. Unions RMT and Unite have called for the government to provide interim funding.
