Some 1,000 workers balloted at transport company Kuehne and Nagel Drinks Logistics

Issue No. 2367

Almost 1,000 workers are being balloted for industrial action at Kuehne and Nagel Drinks Logistics (KNDL), a transport company that delivers beers and soft drinks to pubs.

The workers’ Unite union says KNDL bosses “rode roughshod” over a national agreement, imposing changes to working conditions.

The ballot covers workers at 27 sites around England, Scotland and Wales—including Wakefield Europort where Unite has 100 members.

The ballot closes on Wednesday 28 August.
