Portsmouth processing centre to take part in consultative ballot as 380 jobs are threatened

Workers at Portsmouth processing centre are voting in a consultative ballot over plans to close it with the loss of 380 jobs.

Ruth Harris, Portsmouth CWU branch secretary said, “Workers are very concerned. We have two issues to fight now—the plans to close the mail centre and the Save our Royal Mail campaign.”
