Historic postal strike in Plymouth on the cards

Issue No. 2368

Some 500 postal workers could be on strike in Plymouth, south Devon  next month. Across the six offices in the city average turnout in an industrial action ballot was 70 percent, with 85 percent voting to strike.

Two offices returned 100 percent votes for action. Delivery workers say they are angry over harassment, bullying by management and increased workloads.
