Anti-fascists protest against the EDL in South Shields

by Nick Clark
Issue No. 2369

Around 200 anti-fascists opposed the English Defence League (EDL) and North East Infidels in South Shields last Saturday.

The fascists assembled around 150 thugs.

Disgracefully, the police allowed them to march, yet anti-fascists were only allowed a static protest.

South Tyneside Unites Against Fascism and Unite Against Fascism called the protest.
