Anti-fracking protesters in Balcombe, Sussex, began a month of rolling direct action on Monday of this week.

They are protesting against Cuadrilla Resources’ drilling operation there.

One man locked himself onto a tanker attempting to leave the site on Monday (see picture).

This closed the site entrance for most of the afternoon and stopped lorries from entering the site.

Protesters read out messages of support from all over the world for the man over a megaphone.
